Greg Warnock, Chairman
Greg Warnock is one of the most active private equity investors in Utah, having invested in 18 companies during the 12 years preceding the formation of vSpring. He was previously the founder of Precision Data Link, which he sold to Profit Recovery Group (PRGX) in 1998. He was an angel investor in Knowlix, a successful software company that was acquired by Peregrine Systems. He syndicated and participated in the seed financing of Advion BioSciences, a successful company later funded by Skyline Ventures, Perseus-Soros BioPharmaceutical Fund and Polaris Venture Partners. He was principle in more than 20 M&A transactions prior to vSpring. These experiences have given Greg a deep understanding of the ingredients of successful private equity investing. Greg is a judge of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year contest and a repeat VC selection committee member for the Investors Choice West conference. Greg received a BS in Computer Science and a MBA from the University of Utah. Greg is on the board of directors of AVinti, BioMicro Systems, Cymphonix and MediConnect.
Tony Zito, CEO
Anthony Zito joined mediaFORGE as a seasoned executive in 2005 and continues to provide vision and direction to the mediaFORGE team. Prior to his involvement with mediaFORGE,
Zito managed and grew several successful technology businesses including Precision Data Link (President and Co-founder), acquired by The Profit Recovery Group, and ezADit.com (Co-
founder and CEO), acquired by Y2M, a subsidiary of MTV Networks. ezADit.com aggregated ad inventory from over 4,000 college newspapers and categorized them demographically to
allow advertisers to make ad buys directly through the ezADit.com portal. Zito brings over 20 years of entrepreneurial experience to the table. He is an active angel investor and a
member of the Utah Technology Council.
Rick Weight, CTO
Richard Weight has an impressive record with over ten years of
experience in software development and software development
management. Weight previously worked at The Generations
Network in Provo, Utah, where he was responsible for project
defining policies and processes around Build and Release,
Centralized corporate information and communications, IT
services and software integration. He also played a key role
in the architecture and development management at Venafi, a
security automation company.
